What are dolls?
Digital dolls are like real dolls. In real life you have a naked doll and dress/style her. Digital dolls are the same - we have so-called 'bases', which are naked bodies. Then we draw clothes/hair on them.
There are some different techniques to do this. The most common technique is pixel shading, which means you draw pixel by pixel. Programms like MS Paint are perfect for this technique. Other techniques are tool shading (shading with a smooth brush) or a mix between the techniques. It's not difficult to learn how to pixel or tool shade, you only need some patience and pratice ;-)

What are bases?
As already said, bases are naked bodies. They're not meant to be porn/hentai. It's just to dress them. Bases are available in many different styles; from cartoon-like to realistic, from big to small. Are you looking for bases? Take a look here: Free bases
